Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I'm finally back! :D

I've found the time (and the weather) to arrange a professional photoshoot of my TDR 125 Lightburner Belgarda - 1992.

I also posted a "collage" of pictures to show which was the initial state of the bike before my complete and "to the last bolt" restoration.

As soon as possible, I will post pictures of the restoration process and of the parts I've rebuilt as standards and/or to improve performances, such as special admission manifold, snorkel..and many others! 8)

Enjoy!

Thanks a lot, everyone!

She is completely original in colors and graphics..it's the last TDR 125 Belgarda model before the TDR 125 R version. To be precise, in year 1992 those two models coexisted together.

She shares the same graphics of XTZ 750 "SuperTènèrè" model year 1992. It gives a more serious look. 8)

:D Here there are more photos:

A beautiful SIDE VIEW :

Image

My SPECIAL INTAKE MANIFOLD which I studied and realized to improve the fluid dynamics. It exists with or without junction for the resonance air-chamber : tried both, I prefer the one without, it gives more "body" to the engine. Now I'm developing something more refined, based on this experience.

Image

SNORKEL for the air box, much like the original, but optimized.

More photos will follow ... 8)

Yeah, she looks great ! As if, she's just come out of a showroom!
I agree as well on the graphics, they give the bike a much more serious look! Really nice

Any changes to engine or exhaust done other than those on the pics?

The special intake manifold alone does an extremely good job : with the standard carburetion, the engine breathes better and has gained a few hundred RPM in the high-end, versus the standard manifold. I have a double-petal reed valve and the air filter has been handmade. Original exhaust. BR10ES spark plug ( makes the bike readier if the carburetion is accurate).

The bike is in the "full-power" version and has excellent performances in this configuration (same engine of TZR125R 4DL but with a 28mm carburetor), for the category. My aim was to optimize an already very good engine. :D

At the moment, I'm setting up a new engine block, with sportier configuration to use exclusively on track: cylinder with revised transfer ports, increased piston bore, optimized crank-chamber volume, a new special intake manifold ... but above all .... a manifold between carburetor and original airbox to easily assemble/disassemble the carburetor to adjust the carburetion =D< . Special exhaust. 8) As the parts become ready, I'll post some photos.

In the meantime, I will post photos of other parts that I made specifically for my bike during her restoration.

If you have other curiosities ... just ask! :D
