Hello from Italy! TDR 125 R Lightburner

Messagede akronos le 02 Jan 2019 20:10

Hello! TOmorrow i posto some Pics of my bike.
I have a question. I need to know if if a complete giannelli exhaust improves performance compared to the original or is money thrown away.

I could not find any kind of exhaust for my tdr 125 r lightburner of 1991. I only find exhaust for the Deltabox version.

is it possible to mount an exhaust of the dt125r 88-92?

Hello Italy!
Buon anno!
The Giannelli is a good all around pipe that should give you a noticeable power increase. Lighter weight and nicer noise too. For the most part, the Lightburner basically IS a DTR with different looks, they share the same frame and engine, so fitting a DTR pipe won't be a problem.
Enjoy!

Just dont forget to review the air/fuel mixture.....in theory, you should also change the main jet for a bigger one.

at the moment I mounted a phbh 30 with maximum jet 128 and pin x53 (very fat). The cylinder is a 3MB00P, revised in the geometry of the lights and exhaust. the squish band was made at 1.1 mm. The engine runs well and pulls already very strong with the original exhaust (by the way it seems very full of dirt).
