Nice rebuid, even if the color seem to be strange.

what's the origine of your motor bloc to be able to mount this huge reed cage ?

On the pictures the gold really seems a bit strange, the tank and all the plastics will be painted in british racing green.

The reed cage is from a Honda NSR 125 with Carbon Membranes, you have to mill the engine block a little bit on both sides than they fit very good (in the original Minarelli DT125 block), but I want to change to a Tassinari Vforce Delta 2 in the future.

I´ll keep you updated as soon as there is a bigger stage of development. The Exhaust is from Athena, the silencer is a very old Accessoire / Equipment for old KTM 2 stroke bikes and is no longer offered.

I hope can change the light mask / Headlight (at the moment Acerbis DHH) to the Husky SMR mask / Headlight.

i'll be curious to see the work on the block to let the reed cage fit in. The clearance is so thin on mine ! how is the difference in mm between the NSR and the DT ?

The real reed case (without the groundplate) has got the measurement:

length: 60mm * breadth / width 45 mm tallness 47mm

The DT engine block has got clearance / space of 57mm lenght.
With the engineblock material on both sides you´ve got 70mm.
So you can mill the engine block and have still enough material left.

I hope you understand what I mean.

Edit: Here is a picture of a TZR Belgarda Block (32mm Carb), because I´ve no other picture.

But the measurement I have written in the picture are from the DT125.

Really nice job, the spring arm is really beautiful.
I also think the frame coulour is strange but that's your taste :wink:

We want to see more pics of this project with sexy parts
