Hi, again!

I adjusted the valve, and now it opens fully at around 6500.

But today I went my mechanic to remove restrictions from the exhaust, and he didn't want to cut it because he isn't sure that he can weld it again properly, but he removed the small piece of pipe on the entrance of the exhaust, and now motorcycle have maybe 15-20% more power, and idle is bigger for about 250 rpm.

Here is pic of that piece:

I will try to find the welder to remove the other restrictions in the muffler, but how nobody of you didn't know for this restriction on my TDR?

Thanks!

You have such restrictions on German DTR
Look at this http://dt125.de/dt125/Mainpage/Werkstat ... index.html

OK!

In the last time I was thinking about buying an aftermarket exhaust, and I found this for my TDR:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/GOTZ-KPL-ANLAGE- ... 2a15a13729

Then I went Gianelli page, and found this power charts for DT 2004, but probably there are same for the TDR also:
http://www.giannelli.com/eng/prodotti/d ... asp?id=562

Do you think that these power charts are real, because there is no loss in the lower rpm, and there is big boost in the high?

Hi from an expat to France

No the DTR/DTX exhaust Will not fit in not without serious welding and modifications.

It could fit on the Italian TDR lightburner but I Doubt you have this model.

Unresticted your bike should be able to take about 90 mp/h at à rev of 10.000 rpm in 6 gear.

I'll check if I don't have an Unresticted one in my pile of spare parts.. I think I saw one.
If I'm correct I could send it to you for just P&P price from France to Uk.

Hi!

I don't want to fit the exhaust from the DT, i just give the link on the pic showing power charts of the dt with the gianelli, because I couldn't find that chart for my TDR.

For TDR maybe I will buy this:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/GOTZ-KPL-ANLAGE- ... 2a15a13729

But my question is: "Are these power charts of DT with Gianelli true"?
http://www.giannelli.com/oggetti/1937_Y ... 20sito.jpg

I can't belive that there is no loss in the lower RPM, and that is so big improvement in the high.

 Power curves are somewhat exaggerated, it's commercial!
There is a loss of low end torque, and it makes sense.
