Re: TDR problem with CDI Module 4FU[speed limit]

Messagede cinek100 le 30 Avr 2017 11:49

I received TDR .Mechanic riped off original silencer.Max speed is 110 km/h now, but acceleration and RPM is not working smoothly over 7.5 000 RPM and little choke, max is 9.5 000 while ride[before was 10.500 and not choke].The jets are the same like before 270 and 25 originally. I'm consider about adjust idle carbureter to different set. That idle on film 1:37 sec.How high or how low should be this "ring" which block idle on certain position?

Max speed is still 110 km/h on 9.500.I don't know what difference is between my TDR and fully unrestricted TDRs.
1.Tires are typical:
Front 100/90 18''
Rear 130/80 17''

2.Sprocket :

16x57

3.Geatrs ratio:

Primary reduction 3.227
Secondary reduction 3,56

1 gear 2,83
2 gear 1,88
3 gear 1,41
4 gear 1,14
5 gear 0,96
6 gear 0,82

Is there other explanation beside speedometer or tachometer shows false results ?
Not measures with GPS yet.

Not restricted, but it can be modified like this: tutos/bacetpipe.pdf

115 km /h on 9500 RPM
This is impossible with the original transmission (16 x 57) !! Really the maximum speed is 125km/h for 9500 rpm

Re: TDR problem with CDI Module 4FU[speed limit]

Messagede cinek100 le 13 Juil 2017 21:32

Yes I have original 16/57 sprockets , original tires and gearbox transmission also. The question is what takes the 10 km'/h.My tdr was originally restricted to 80 km/h not like other versions to 90 km /h.
And second thing:I can understand these two modifications, but third dont.

"Pour terminer, on peut aussi supprimer le boitier YEIS qui vient se fixer sur la pipe, son rôle est de favoriser
les reprises à très bas régimes mais au détriment d'une bonne accélération.
Pour cela il faut enlever ce boitier et boucher le trou de la pipe avec un cache maison, la reprise sera plus
franche mais le réglage carburateur un peu plus délicat, on obtient alors ceci"

Is it worth to remove this box and block the house if its written that the recovery at very low revs wil be better but at the expense of a good acceleration.Mayby it subjective and depends on person for who it is better?

You were right phifi.Yesterday iI used GPS device and it show 125 km/h max at 9500 RPM.The speedo show 10 km/h less than real speed. But I dont know why it doesnt work properly.

Usually, I understood that speedos tend to overestimate your speed and not the opposite....are all speedo parts original? A different tyre size? A shitty cable or worn drive maybe?

Getting back to the YEIS thingy, you could try removing it to see for yourself how the bike goes and if it suits your riding....
