How to plug a TZR 2RH cdi into DTR wiring loom

Hi, i'm wondering if someone knows how to plug correctly a TZR cdi ( 2RH model ) that is first TZR model, into a wiring harness loom from DTR first model ( 88 to 99 ) . I took a picture and put a red circle where i have problems to connect. Is that to YPVS servo engine ( 3 wires version ) or to plug directly on wiring harness ?

You want to connect it on what model of DTR?
88 models have a special wiring, then 89 and 98 is the same.

Thanks Phifi, but i also have that diagram and i think it hasn't what i'm really need because i've all original electrical components including the generator and Ypvs servo engine. The bike is a 92 DTR and what i'm looking for is where i should connect the plug with a red circle. I took more pics from generator and ypvs servo engine and they have the same plug with same colors as from Cdi

The YPVS servo also has a plug with these two wires, maybe can be to plug there ?? :





Also in wiring loom there is a plug with same colors, so that's my doubt :

Connection to this picture is correct:


the green plug does not fit.


These 2 connectors should be connected together.
It's the 12 volts alimentation for the YPVS servo engine.

You know, you can try a 125 RDLC's cdi, phifi told me that the curve is a little bit better at the end between 7500-8000 to 10000rpm.

Or if you want, you can buy a programmable cdi, look at it.

So Phifi, the green plug from Cdi will be with no function ? I know the plug with Brown and Black wires in wiring harness is a 12 V power source, so my initial doubt was if the cdi sould be connected to there or if would be the Ypvs servo, but it is the servo engine. right

There is another component that i would like to know if can be also fitted to DTR wiring harness. I guess that it is for neutral and sidestand switch and for oil tank light . Should i also connect it

Well Rony, actually this is for i try to help a friend of mine as he bought a 2RH cdi for a cheaper price and wants to fit in your DTR, however i would like to confirm how to plug it correctly to prevent any danger on cdi . RD 125 LC cdi is more difficult to find out used as it's a very rare here, so TZR is the best solution. I also know Ignitech programmable cdi, is the best solution at all, but in moment he doesn't want to spend much money

Even unplugged the cdi Noral work.

In fact it manages these functions.
DTR on this is handled by the CDI (blue and light blue).
It will probably plug it in, but I do not know how.

Yeah i know Rony, Tzr has a better map than Dtr cdi. He just want to change it cause the original has been broken

Here's a picture of my tzr 2rl engine, you can see the connector from the generator.
Above it, there's the sensor connector.



My engine is out of the deltabox, because i'm restauring it. If you need some other picture, ask me.
